I've had similar problems. I've tried running SRO on dual 1905FPs....it usually ends up playing on about 80% of one monitor, with a little bleeding over on the second monitor.

It sucks. I just disable my second monitor when I play.

You'd be surprised what a few thousand people can do to a server that wasn't properly set up/maintained (esp. if the person setting it up doesn't know what they're doing).

If you know the brand/model of your motherboard, go to that manufacturer's website and look up the specs for it.

More servers = greater distribution of players = not so many people in one server = less lag

Clear as mud? :)

It's a nice looking card with an Nvidia chipset. Shouldn't be hard to find drivers for it and make it run smooth. Since it's from the 'Egg, any problems you have will likely be resolved quickly thru RMA if it gets to that. Congrats. :)

Wish I had that kinda $$$.

Kingston is pretty good, though I prefer Corsair XMS. Corsair is the best quality RAM, IMO. If you wanna test whether or not your RAM is throwing out errors (obviously it is), run a program called MemTest86+. You can load it on a CD or floppy and boot into it. Let it run for a full day and see what ...

SRO has an in-game screen cap featuer, AFAIK. You should just be able to "print screen" and then paste it into your favorite image editor.

Same card, same lag. But I experience the same lag off of a new Toshiba satellite with a gig of ram, 2.3 ghz processor, ect. This was on a cable connection. It’s the freakin servers. And monkeys. >_> *goes off to lead monkey conspiracy group* :P Definately the connection/server issue. My comp. at w...

My first inclination would be to say that the video card is overheating. However, you mentioned a *decent* card, so I dunno.

What is the cooling situation like inside your case? Are your drives updated? Are you running other programs in the background?

Same card and issue here.

Ironically, I can play this game better on a Dell 2.0GHz Northwood with a 1GB RDRAM and 128MB Matrox Parhelia than I can with my home-built rig (2.4GHz Prescott OC'd to 2.8GHz, 1GB DDR dual channel, 128MB Nvidia Gefore FX 5200).

Some say it's not worth the $8 or $9....IMO, it's worth every bit. It's all in how you look at it, I guess (and havin' a job doesn't hurt either).
