Noticed that squirrels and monkeys do it no problem. What about wolves bought from npc?

Ok so lets say I go as a blader.
Maxing blade skill, having fire and cold as my forces and lightning for faster running. Would I still have enough masteries left to keep a bit on spear to have hp increase thingy, or it would make my main skills rather weaker?
